Chad Mize: President

Chad Mize has joined the Chattanooga Red Wolves SC Academy as President.  In his role, Chad will guide the Red Wolves Academy Leadership team to enable growth and evolution of youth competitive and recreation soccer in the greater Chattanooga area.   

 

“I am both honored and excited to be part of the Red Wolves as their Academy President to bring the highest level of youth competitive soccer to the area while also supporting the growth of recreation programs with our association partners,” said Mize.  “Our Academy players, parents, coaches , and association partners, as part of the professional club, will have opportunities for the very best soccer development in the region with committed investments to our infrastructure by owner Bob Martino.”                 

                    

“Chad is the ideal choice to lead our Academy with his focus on making the players our priority in every decision we make regarding their future,” said General Manager Sean McDaniel/Owner Bob Martino.  “Chad with work closely with Matt Yelton, Vice-President of Youth Soccer Operations and Senior Director of Coaching, to create a new competitive soccer experience in the area including the USL Academy League, only for organizations with USSF professional teams.    

 

Prior to joining the Red Wolves, Chad served as a volunteer member of the CFC Academy Board from June 2016 to March 2019 representing Redoubt Soccer Association, a current partner of the Red Wolves.  Chad will also remain a volunteer Board member for Redoubt where he has served since 2016. 

 

Chad and his wife, Betsy, reside in Ooltewah, TN with their three children, who play either Premier level Academy or recreation soccer locally.  Chad has over 10 years of volunteer experience coaching youth recreation or select soccer, baseball, softball and basketball at multiple area associations including Redoubt, Ooltewah Youth Association and the YMCA.               

 

Professionally, Chad is the VP & General Manager for the Brass, Gas, Repair and Singer Valve businesses at Mueller Water Products, a NYSE publicly traded organization, where he has spent the last 15 years.
